HAPPY YEAR
January brings the snow, sledging down the
hill we go
February's Pancake Day. Helps to chase the cold away
March winds blow the clouds on high, as our kites we try to fly
When we see both showers and sun, merry April has begun.
Warmer weather comes in May, in the garden
we can play,
To the farm one afternoon, to see haymaking in June.
July brings the holidays, picnics on the sunny days.
August - digging on the sand. Listening to a big brass band.
Someone says it's now September, playing
conkers we remember.
In October we desire cosy tea around the fire.
When we hear the fireworks bang, November fogs about us hang.
Need I tell you of December? Christmas Day we all remember.
Be the weather good or bad, what a happy
year we will have!
